A few of the Ag Communication students attended the Stand Deliver workshop today in Fairview. Rhett Laubach met with the students and went over how to write your own speech. He shared a lot of good tips, and the students are ready to start writing their own speeches!

The Canton FFA had a surprise visit from the Oklahoma FFA state officers. They visited with the second hour Ag Communications class on Wednesday the 7th. They came to visit for a short amount of time and had the class ask them questions. They shared their experiences as state officers and encouraged the students to stay engaged in their chapter and community.

Save the Date‼️📢 January 30th the Class of 2026 will be having their senior fundraiser during the High School basketball game against Hinton in the High School Cafeteria. They will be serving fried fish or chicken strips with fries and a dessert. They would greatly appreciate your support!! The sign up sheets have been also attached from the Seniors meeting they had yesterday. There are still time slots available for students and parents. You can get with Mrs. Wood to be added to the schedule.

🏀 First Game of the New Year!
Our Canton Tigers are on the road tonight taking on Vici. Girls tip off at 6:30 p.m., with the boys’ game to follow. Let’s start the year strong. Go Tigers!

The Canton Ag Boosters invites you to their annual Canton 4H & FFA Trophy Auction on January 13th @ 6:30pm in the high school cafeteria. They will have a meal and auction to raise money for their local livestock show prizes and premium checks for their stock show exhibitors.

We have made some changes to our bus routes starting when school resumes on Tuesday, January 6th for the spring semester tomorrow. Please check your Canton Schools app as route changes have been communicated there. Pickup and dropoff times may be adjusted slightly as we go along and get settled in with the changes.

A general note I'd like to pass along is that all Longdale town stops pickup times will be approximately 10 minutes earlier than they have been previously.
