Canton Elementary was thrilled to welcome Lyric Theatre's presentation of Will Rogers Follies today! Students learned a great deal about Oklahoma's favorite son! Several of our students got to help out with some of the scenes!

🏀 Buffalo Invitational Basketball Tournament
Due to possible inclement weather later this week, the Buffalo Invitational Tournament will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
🧡 Tomorrow, Jan. 21st, High School Girls tip off at 11:40 a.m., with the boys’ game to follow.

It’s Elementary and Junior High basketball tonight at home!
🧡 Elementary takes on OBA at 4:30 p.m., followed by Junior High.

The bond focuses on practical improvements that directly support student safety and future growth. The projects include an Elementary Classrooms Addition to reduce crowding, an Enclosed Corridor between the elementary and gym so students no longer have to walk outside between buildings, a Gym Lobby Addition that improves traffic flow and creates a safer, more welcoming space for students, families, and community events, and additional school furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Reminder: Canton Public Schools will be out of school on Monday as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Ethan Cantrell - HS Art class During our relief printing unit Ethan chose to do his edition as a progression of the color layers. Beginning with the bottom right he cut out the areas of white from a soft cut printing block. He then removed more and more of the block's surface for each subsequent planned color. A remaining final print will be submitted to the upcoming Plains Indians and Pioneers Museum High School juried art show. Be on the lookout for other student prints that will also be submitted!
