Congratulations to the following students for receiving the exciting news today about their American FFA Degree Applications being approved!! They will get the opportunity to represent the Canton FFA Chapter at the 2025 National FFA Convention in October. This is the highest degree that you can receive in the FFA, nationally. The Canton Athletics season passes are available for the 2025 and 2026 home athletic contests. Family passes are $160, and work for immediate family members. Individual Season Passes are $80. You can come by the Canton High School office to order your passes, or contact Athletic Director David Smith. All passes will be ready to pick up at the gate unless you request to pick up from the office at your convenience.

Now, who’s stationed by the door?.. • Landon Vowell! • My name is Landon Vowell, I am Canton’s FFA Sentinel for 2025-2026, I am a senior this year and my favorite song is Seein’ Red by Dustin Lynch. 🚪 • I enjoy participating in football, powerlifting, and esports. 🎮 • I love meeting new people and attending FFA events to learn more about agriculture. 👨🏻🌾 • I plan to move on to Autry Votech in Enid, and go through their diesel mechanics program then go on to work as a mechanic at Great Plains Kubota in Enid ⚙️ • It is my senior year, and I am very excited to be an officer and participate in more FFA events. 📋 • My advice for younger members is to learn from your upper class men’s mistakes and let them teach you the right way to do projects. 🥕 Written by Canton 25-26 Vice President Sisaly Hepner

🌊🌺Back to School Bash🌺🌊 Please join the Canton FFA for a fun time this coming Thursday, 8/14/25!! They will be hosting their annual Back to School Bash at Sandy Cove 6pm-8pm. There will be hotdogs and hamburgers, lots of fun outdoor games, and of course swimming!! You don’t have to be in FFA to be able to attend. They want to extend their invitation to the grades 7th-12th. We hope to see you there!
