🏆 Canton Elementary Academic Team Starts Season Strong!
The Canton Elementary Academic Team kicked off their season on Friday at the district competition in Cherokee, OK — and they came ready to compete!
Round 1:
Canton vs. Cherokee
Final: 150–130 (Canton Win!)
High scorer: Knox Smith (40 points)
Additional points: River Sullins & Indy Jones (20 each)
Speed rounds added 70 points.
Round 2:
Canton vs. Burlington A
Final: 170–120 (Canton Win!)
High scorer: River Sullins (70 points)
Additional points: Knox Smith (50 points)
Speed rounds added 50 points.
Round 3:
Canton vs. Burlington B
Final: 190–90 (Canton Win!)
High scorer: Indy Jones (50 points)
Additional scoring: Knox 30, River 30, Ryler Jones 10, Cole Stinson 10
Speed rounds added 60 points.
Also contributing to the team’s strong showing were Daegan Sutton, Reese Davis, Ryan Davis, and Ezri Holsapple.
These students represented Canton with excellence, teamwork, and determination. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and success. 🌟

Our NHS and ACT Prep students have teamed up for a coat drive during the Gayle Hajny Invitational! Each new coat donated earns two free entry tickets for Saturday’s game. Help us keep everyone warm and enjoy a night of basketball!
