The Canton Local Livestock Show prizes came in yesterday, and the top exhibitors from the local were awarded during school. We are extremely proud of their hard work and dedication to their show projects. Congratulations!!

Today we proudly celebrate National School Resource Officer Day, and we could not let it pass without recognizing how incredibly blessed we are by our SRO. Thank you, Scott, for being so much more than a uniform in the hallway. You are a steady presence, a listening ear, a mentor, and a friend to so many of our students. You help create an environment where our kids feel safe, supported, and cared for each and every day. From greeting students in the mornings, to building relationships that go far beyond the badge, to stepping in when things get tough. You handle it all with patience, professionalism, and compassion. Our students trust you. Our staff appreciates you. Our families value you. Safety is important, and connection is powerful. You do both so well. We are grateful for your service, your dedication, and the calm confidence you bring to our campus. Thank you for investing in our kids and helping make our school a place where students can learn and thrive. Today and every day, we appreciate you. 💙

Tonight, our Board of Education had the honor of recognizing two outstanding students who are representing Canton Public Schools in incredible ways! 👏 Harper Jones was selected to travel to Washington, D.C. this summer, where she will meet with congressional representatives and gain firsthand experience in what it means to be an actively involved citizen. What an amazing opportunity to learn about leadership, civic responsibility, and service at the national level. We are so proud of you, Harper! ⭐ Kalissa Mathis earned 3rd place at Regional STAR Events, a tremendous accomplishment that reflects her hard work, talent, and dedication. Competing at this level takes commitment and excellence, and Kalissa continues to shine! Please join us in congratulating these two young ladies. They are setting the bar high and representing our school and community with pride! 🧡🖤

Today, 15 of our FCA members proved that age is just a number when it comes to spreading love! 💞We had a blast visiting the residents at the Fairview Fellowship Home. Between the intense swatterball match, delivering handmade Valentines, and visiting, our hearts are so full. ❤️🥰I am so proud of our students for bringing so much energy and kindness to our local seniors today! 

We had such an amazing time at our local show held last Saturday! We are incredibly thankful for everyone who came out to support our FFA and 4-H exhibitors, your support truly means more than words can say. We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and determination our kids showed, both in and out of the ring. Seeing FFA and 4-H members grow, learn, and gain confidence makes all the long hours worth it. The day was filled with fun, smiles, and great memories, and we had an absolute blast celebrating our exhibitors and community. Big congratulations to Harper Jones and Sisaly Hepner on making this year's media team for the Enid Northwest District Junior Livestock Show!!! These girls will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in agricultural communications while helping document and promote one of Oklahoma’s best livestock shows.

Canton JH attended the 8-Man State Meet in Enid on Tuesday. 6 brought home medals and a lot of athletes set new PRs in their lifts. 7th Grade- Bryson Coffey- 2nd place (157) Noah Reichert- 3rd place(157) Cameron Kewish- 3rd place(181) Talon Vowell- 2nd place(220) 8th grade- Grant Koos- 3rd place(145) 9th grade Kyler Haworth-3rd place(181) All athletes PR'd in at least one event during the meet. It's a great day to be a Tiger!
