Harper Jones recently completed a week of service as a page for Darcy Jech at the Oklahoma State Capitol (April 6–9). During her time, Harper assisted with Senate committee meetings and daily sessions, and participated in “Pageville,” a mock legislative session where students debated real bills. She also met state leaders and toured the Capitol and Oklahoma History Center. We are proud of Harper for representing our school and gaining valuable, firsthand experience in the legislative process!
A special thank you to Tina Woods and Ethan Cantrell for donating eggs and helping make our chick-hatching project possible. Your generosity gave our students an unforgettable hands-on learning experience!
5th/6th grade students were “Ruling the Roost” during our recent chick-hatching project! Students learned about the life cycle of chickens, explored the parts of an egg, and watched in excitement as new chicks began to hatch. 🐣
We’re so proud of our Students of the Month!
To celebrate their hard work, positive attitudes, and dedication, they enjoyed a fun trip to Factory Obscura followed by some well-earned pizza.
These students continue to set a great example every day, and we’re excited to recognize all they’ve accomplished. Keep up the amazing work—we can’t wait to see what you do next!

Cadet Lawman is a free program designed for incoming high school seniors. Participants will explore many aspects of the law enforcement profession through hands-on experiences and training. The program takes place the first full week of June at Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma. Featured in the picture: Maddox Cooper, Mr. Walters, Emily McEachern, and Hannah Hoffman.

Come spend a fun evening with us enjoying good food and great entertainment! Our History Day students have been working hard and are excited to share their plays, along with this year’s exhibits.
For just $15, you’ll get a full meal with fettuccine chicken alfredo, green beans, salad, garlic knots, a drink, and dessert, plus a chance to sit back and enjoy the show.
It’s a great way to support our students and experience history in a whole new way!

Big Congrats to former Canton Lady Tiger Coach David Baldwin!!
Coach Baldwin was recently selected to the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Class of 2026!!
He will be recognized during the OBCA All Star Weekend at UCO on June 6th.
