Notice: Rescheduled Parent/Teacher Conferences

Due to scheduling conflicts, Parent/Teacher Conferences have been rescheduled to Monday, October 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Elementary parents will receive notification of their assigned conference times.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding. We hope this adjustment will provide more families and teachers with the opportunity to meet.

The fabulous 5th graders in Mrs. Cowan's Reading class have been studying figurative language. Students created onomatopoeia posters to make the sounds come to life. Then, the students and staff voted on their favorite poster. Nice job to all of our talented, creative artists in 5th grade. For the month of September, our scientists-in-training have been busy learning about the Structure of Matter, investigating Physical & Chemical Properties, and comparing Natural and Synthetic Materials!
🔍 They’ve discovered how matter is built, learned to tell the difference between changes that can be reversed and those that can’t, and explored how humans transform natural resources into synthetic materials we use every day.

Canton Art Club is beginning a special clay project. Donations of random items to make texture and indentations in the clay are greatly appreciated. Please bring to the high school office for Ms. Morgan.

🧼 Help Us Stock Our Hygiene Closets! We’re collecting hygiene closet supplies for students in need. Take a look at our checklist to see what’s needed. From deodorant and shampoo to feminine care items and fresh socks, every donation helps a student feel confident, clean, and cared for! 🪥🪥We are currently stocked with plenty of toothpaste and toothbrushes. You can drop your items off at the elementary or high school office. Thank you for helping make a difference!!

FCA Leadership Spotlight of the week! ✝️ Hi, my name is Landon Williams and I am an FCA leader for the first time this year. I’ve been in FCA for 4 years and it’s been great. FCA for me is about people coming together to learn about God and grow in their faith. FCA is basically, what I like to say, youth group at school. We have lessons on Wednesdays, we play games, have 5th quarters, listen to worship music, and more. I am excited to see how people grow and how much they learn about God.

We are gearing up for our annual trip to Kenny Farms on Wednesday, October 15th. We are ordering shirts for all of our students to wear on that day. Please notify your child's teacher of your child's t-shirt size by Thursday, September 25th so that we can get shirts ordered. Be on the lookout for permission slips next week.
