Athletic Physicals are happening today Tuesday May 13th at the Canton High School Gym from 9:00 to 12.00 and another session from 1:00 to 4:00. All Canton athletes entering the 5th through 12th grades can get their physical free of charge. Athletes will need these physicals before they can participate in summer workouts, practices, and athletics for the 2025/2026 school year.
Reminder: Athletic Physicals for Canton Students entering the 5th through 12th grades will be performed in the High School gym free of charge Tuesday May 13th. Times are 9:00 to 12:00 in the morning and 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. Please make sure to bring a parent/guardian signed physical form.

5th and 6th grade played some Cornhole! Brock and Kason are the Single Elimination Champions! Knox and Stormy are the Double Elimination Champions!
Elementary Awards are tomorrow at 9:00am. You can check out your child after the awards with their teacher. School will be dismissed and buses will run at 12:50.
The Canton FFA had an eventful time during the 99th Oklahoma State FFA Convention the last couple of days. They attended many sessions, listened to several keynote speakers, and had some opportunities to represent their chapter on stage. On the first day of the convention, the chapter moved up to the silver plus chapter trust contributor list, and received a plaque on stage. The Canton FFA was also the top contributor of the chapter trust fund in the Northwest region for the 2024-2025 school year, so they received the traveling bronze eagle. Then to round out the evening of the first day, James Schoonmaker received his Honorary State FFA Degree. On the second day of the convention, Nick Sullins, with 818 other FFA seniors received his State FFA Degree. This is a huge honor and the chapter is very proud of Nick.
Reminder of Donuts with Grownups tomorrow morning. Students will need to go to class by 8:15 to get ready for their awards program. Parents, you are welcome to wait in the elementary gym from 8:15-9:00 for the awards to start. We are working on some special entertainment for while you wait. We will bring donuts to elementary students in the classroom. They will not miss out on getting a donut! See you tomorrow!
