The Canton FFA finished out their trip at the National FFA Convention by attending the American Degree ceremony on Saturday. Unfortunately the morning of the ceremony a stomach bug kept a part of the group from attending and partaking in the ceremony. Blair Dowell was able to walk across stage to receive her degree, and two other Canton members were able to cross the stage for Emma Hoffman and Marci Kopf. These three students represented the chapter and our town greatly. We are so proud of them!!

The FFA officer team has been on the road the past few days heading to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention. Day one was filled with traveling and then a fun evening at the Airbnb in Illinois. Day Two was more traveling to Louisville, Kentucky to tour the Louisville Slugger Museum, site see at Churchill Downs, and then back on the road to the Airbnb in Indiana for the night. Day 3 we started out with attending the National FFA Convention Center in the morning, and then have more to explore this evening. Then tomorrow the American Degree ceremony, to watch Blair Dowell, Marci Kopf, and Emma Hoffman walk across the stage.

Our high school clubs showed off their creativity and school spirit in this year’s Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Each club designed a pumpkin that represented their group’s activities, and the results were incredible. From clever themes to amazing artistry, our students truly showcased their talent and teamwork.
The Academic Team won first place with their Albert Einstein creation!
